Seeds of Peace is an organization that brings together Israeli, Palestinian, and other Middle Eastern youth to foster dialogue, understanding, and leadership amid conflict. At its core is the Seeds of Peace Camp, where participants engage in structured dialogues about complex topics like the Nakba, Occupation, and identity. Through team-building, leadership workshops, and intercultural events, they build trust, challenge divisive narratives, and work toward a more peaceful future by forming authentic relationships and gaining empathy.
With great admiration for the Seeds of Peace programme, The Bliss Mahal presents Salam & Shalom, a fully-sponsored transformative week-long programme for adults and leaders from the Middle East. Set within the serene sanctuary of our hotel, this program is designed to foster meaningful dialogue, healing, and reconciliation.
Guided by expert facilitators, participants engage in workshops and discussions addressing critical topics, while relationship-building activities nurture trust and understanding. We believe that love, empathy, and collaboration are the cornerstones of a better tomorrow, and Encontro Sublime seeks to inspire actionable ideas for a brighter, more unified future.
The event takes place annually, beginning on September 15th, the anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords, and concludes on September 21st, the International Day of Peace. This timing allows for a deep reflection on the progress made towards peace in the Middle East while also highlighting the global pursuit of harmony and understanding.
*The seven-night programme Salam & Shalom is fully sponsored by The Bliss Mahal and includes private accommodation at our bespoke villas, three meals at the Chadar Ohel, and partaking in the hotel's activities. Transport from Jerusalem and Be'er Sheva is also included.
**We offer 35 villas and 3 special mobility suites. To join our programme, applicants must be from an affected area, submit a 700-word essay, complete a one-hour-long project on world peace or Middle Eastern politics, and participate in an interview. Candidates who have previously made a strong impact in their community are more likely to be accepted. The program cannot be repeated twice.

There is a beautiful concept in Jewish tradition called Tzedakah. Tzedakah, meaning justice, encourages individuals and organizations to donate between 10% and 20% of their earnings to causes that promote solidarity and well-being. At The Bliss Mahal, this principle is central to our operations.
In addition to supporting The Bliss Bon Street Dog Sanctuary in Yucatan, Mexico, and the Salam & Shalom peace program, through the Bliss Living Mizrahi Foundation, we dedicate 10% of our total revenue to the Seeds of Peace initiative, expanding opportunities for peacebuilding. A further 5% is directed toward high-school education, empowering low-income families with the tools for success. The remaining 5% of our revenue is committed to Bliss is for You, a social travel fund that ensures that low-income families have access to tourism, offering public teachers, firemen, policemen and paramedics in Latin America the opportunity to experience the vacations they deserve, bringing justice and fostering joy and cultural exchange within their country.
